Winter Services We can offer a winter service to all static caravan owners in the area between Spurn and Scarborough, along the Yorkshire Coast and inland to to Beverley and Driffield, Stamford Bridge  (subject to Park Operator). Preparing your caravan for the winter is an important part of keeping it in good condition, if not done correctly, the start of the next season can be a very expensive time, burst water pipes, damaged water heaters, cracked toilets or cisterns as well as mould growth and damp. If your winter preparations are done properly none of this is a worry. Our Winter Service 1.  Disconnection from water supply and blowing through the water system with compressed air, to ensure no water is left in the pipes or water heater to freeze and cause damage. This is done on a date of your choice (subject to demand).  The addition of a special antifreeze mixture to all U bends, toilets and cisterns to prevent them freezing and cracking whilst still maintaining a trap to prevent sewerage smells and gasses getting into your caravan. The position of moisture absorbant packs around the caravan to remove excesive moisture from the air to stop damp and mould. Regular visits to the caravan during the closed season to check the absorbant packs and drain off any collected water (there is no point in collecting the excess moisture from the air if it is allowed to evaporate back into the caravan on the days when it is sunny, even in winter a caravan can get quite warm inside on a bright day). Free reconnection and flushing though of the system on or prior to the start of the new season (on or immediatly before a date of your choice, having given us 10 working days notice of reconnection date, or a reconnecrion fee of £ 8.00 may be charged).  All this for £32.00 2.  Antifreeze checking of the central heating system  (recommended for caravans over 3 years old)  £5.00 (free if we do the draindown it will be checked as a matter of course) 3.  Chemical flushing out of central heating systems to remove sludge and scale. including refilling system with approved  antifreeze and corrosion/scale inhibitors.  £60.00 on its own. (£55 if done in conjunction with draindown) 4.  Refilling of systems with approved antifreeze and corrosion/scale inhibitors. £45.00 on its own. (£40.00 if done in conjuction with draindown) All work is gauranteed.  Discounts of £2.00 per caravan is offered to the owners of caravans we represent as Letting Agents, and those with 2 caravans or more to be disconnected on the same date.
